Summer Reading Pyramid

Remember to read this summer! Every student was given a Summer Reading Pyramid to complete. Those who return their pyramid on the first day of school will receive points for some fun rewards!

On Monday evening the 8th grade class of 2018 graduated from St. Therese School. The teachers and faculty are very proud of their accomplishments over the years, and we wish them all good luck as they move on to high school in the fall.

May Crowning

Tuesday, May 8 is our beautiful May Crowning. 
All students participate in this celebration.
Every child should bring one flower that evening to place at the altar during the procession.
Please have your child(ren) in their classrooms to assemble by 6:40 p.m.
May Crowning begins at 7:00 p.m. in the church.

Red, White, and Blue Celebration

Grades 5-8 will present a musical salute to our country on Tuesday, March 24 at 7:00 p.m. in the gym. 
The performers will dress in red, white, and blue that evening, of course. 
Ms. O'Leary has proclaimed 
Tuesday, April 24 
 a school-wide celebration, 
so all students may be out-of-uniform 
and wear red, white, and blue to school!

We all had a nice break for Easter. We are looking forward to the final weeks of school. Our last day is Wednesday, May 23.

Project Rice Bowl

Our school-wide Lenten project this year was to assist Catholic Relief Services through their Project Rice Bowl campaign.

Thank you to Mothers' Club, Athletic Club, and the Board of Total Catholic Education for your unending support.
Thank you to Ms. O'Leary, the teachers, and all the staff, who are devoted to the Catholic education of the children of our school.
Thank you to Father Heitzman, Father Berschied, and Deacon Theiss for your spiritual guidance and ministry.
And, thanks be to God, whose love and endurance inspires us all to carry on the mission of St. Therese School.

This is our opportunity to celebrate the importance of Catholic education. There are many special activities planned for each day.

WEDNESDAY - Celebrate the Teachers/Staff
    *Do something nice for your teachers and staff members.

THURSDAY - Celebrate Students
    *Wear Green and Gold Spirit wear 
    *Classroom Bingo
    *Other surprises

FRIDAY - Celebrate Families/Grandparents Day
    *Dress to Impress (in our finest)
    *Mass with Grandparents @ 8:15
    *Visit the classrooms
    *Dismiss with grandparents OR @ 11:00

Mission to Jamaica

Thank you to all who so generously supported Mr. Heck in his mission to Jamaica. He travels to Jamaica in January to help with the upkeep and construction of housing for those who are most needy.
